Lancome & Eminence Products

Another products review!

I have recently fall in love with Eminence skincare line. Eminence is made in hungry and they are organic products. They have extensive lineup and currently this brand is used mostly in Spa, but it has became quite popular in HK. I tried few of their products, and here are my favourite ones so far.

Stone Crop serum and Wild Plum eyecream

The stone crop line is one of Eminence popular items. The stone crop line is specialized for problem skin, i.e. getting rid of pimples and fade out dark spot. I have been having a lot of issue with my acnen scar, so I want to give it a try. It has been working quite well, my spots have slowly faded out. I used it twice a day, each time, I will use 2 drops and rub it over the face (esp the problem area - but avoid the eye area). The price was $56
The wild plum eyecream is a very mild eyecream, its main target is to reduce tireness of your eyes, hydrate them. You do not need a lot of them each time as it is concentrated, just one pump for both eyes! I like it as it is very light and smell quite nice! hehe... The price is vary decent - $53

Lancome Cosematics

I have always wanted to try Lancome cosematics (haha Shu is very expensive in Canada ma), so I started off with its Mascara, and right after, I felt in love with it. It is so rich and most of all, it won't fall off after hours. I am currently using its Hypnose (it is targeted for volume) and I love it so much! I got it from outlet, so it is pretty cheap - $18

The next item that is now in my must have list is the Lancome liquid eyeliner! I have tried so many brand liquid eyeliner and no one come close to this Lancome one. It is so easy to use, super great for beginner and the colour is very dark (I have tried some, they are very light black). And most of all, it last long and easy to remove with makeup remover! :) Again, I got it from outlet - $22

I got the dark/ grey pallette from L'oreal warehouse sale (thanks to Monica for the ticket), the first I saw it, I was like the colour is sooo pretty. It has a bit of shimmer, so it is very nice. The reason why I like the dark colour pallette from Lancome is that I have tried its black eyeshadow (shimmer) before when I got a sample from the beauty advisor at Times, and then I played around with it (as most of you know, I don't like dark eyeshadow, I normally wear bright colour), but then I discovered the black eyeshadow from Lancome is super good. The colour is very outstanding and long lasting. I often used it as eyeliner! :) This pallette I got it for $16.50 - good deal! :)

Okay enough for this time, I will post more later! :)

Products that I regret on getting

Instead of writing all good comments about the products that I like, here is an entry of products that I regret on getting:

1. Shiseido The makeup brighening veil

This is a base for make up, I always trusted Shiseido makeup so I thought I would give it a try! This products does nothing to your skin - no colour, not even helping you to prepare your skin. I dislike this product so much that I only used it for few times to test it out. Now it is sitting in the drawer. Good that it was not expensive as I got it in the warehouse sale! LOL

2. Benefit Dr. FeelGood

I got this products as it claims from the booklet and the SDM lady that this will help to smooth out fineline after you put on your make up. It is a LIE! The product is like vaseline type of texture. Not that it WILL NOT smooth out the fineline, but I found that when you apply after doing your perfect makeup, it will take away your makeup and make your look messy. MAN I hate this products. -10 rating! ><

3. Clinique 102 forget me not eyeshadow pallette

I don't recall where did I get this pallette (probably one of the gift from the beauty lady). This pallette look very nice (nice packaging and sweet purple and pink colour). BUT when you apply to your skin, it has NO COLOUR whatsoever no matter how many layer you put on. I just found it waste of my time to use this pallette, so it sits in my drawers for year! HAHA...I am throwing it away after taking the photo for this entry! I don't particularly like the Clinique products as I found their stuff is not that great, I proved to myself right again after using this shadow! LOL

4. Motives mineral powder

I tried mineral powder because it claims that it is better for your skin. So I purchase the Motive mineral powder. The unqiue thing about this powder is that it is customerized to your skintone (meaning the beauty advisor will blend your unique powder). However, I got bad blemish after using it. I guess it is just not for me. I am sure there are people out there who love motives stuff... but just not for me! :(

5. Shu Uemura eyeshadow pair

People often asked me, is there anything in Shu that you dislike as you seem to use a lot of their products? Well there is, and here they are. I don't like the texture of this eyehadow. The tube one is a liquidly paste, which is super hard to apply on your eyelid. The other one is like powder paste (sparkling thingy for your eyes) which I found is not fine enough to attach to the eyelid. The pair was expensive! I am so regret to use it. But I will finish it up as they are from Shu! LOL...

VitaCreme b12

It has been a while since I updated the blog..mainly due to laziness.
So...I want to write about VitaCreme b12 for a long time but never get to it.

It is a very popular cream in Asia as celebrities have claim that they cannot live without this cream.

Thanks to Eva. I got the cream from Vancouver (as it is not in sale in Toronto yet).

The cream with the vitamin b12 makes this cream very special. It is made in Switerzland and it is a all purpose cream and it claims
-to reduce fine lines
-to treat burn spot and any scar
-to treat sign of aging
- especially good for neck treatment (to reduce the appearance of aging in the neck area)
- help reduce the sign of dryness on your skin

My impression of the cream
-Vary expensive as it is $50 for a tube
- a very nice scent to the cream
- it is super easy to absorb in your skin and you don't feel greasy at all (which I love about)
- I have been using it for quite a while (I would say about a month) and I really like it as it improves the dryness and feel very comfortable on the skin
- I really love it as a makeup base (it also claim that it can serve as makeup base). I found that after you apply this cream on your face, it prep my skin so that the makeup set better on my face.

Overall I love this cream and I am asking Eva to re-purchase it for me this year! :)

Ladies hope you enjoy this review.
